Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a welcoming atmosphere that encourages patient engagement and healing. Our workweek runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing ample time for patient care as well as professional development. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients presenting with functional limitations and disabilities.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments that enhance mobility, strength, and quality of life.

• Stay informed about state practice acts, ensuring compliance with all laws governing physical therapy practice.

• Provide high-quality evaluation services, including history reviews, specific assessments, and thoughtful documentation of results.

• Implement and adjust treatment protocols according to evaluation findings, patient feedback, and evolving healthcare standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address changes in patients' conditions effectively.

• Manage the complete discharge planning process along with follow-up care, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient interactions.

• Maintain compliance with corporate and clinical training requirements, adhering to all relevant state, local, and federal regulations.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings aimed at enhancing patient care delivery and accessibility.

• Consistently perform daily treatment tasks while maintaining high standards of patient care and departmental productivity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse population of patients undergoing physical rehabilitation, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding these individuals toward improved physical function and a better quality of life through specialized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

• Current, valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, ideally with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.

• Valid CPR certification.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients through excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with personalized training or rehabilitation solutions, especially those utilizing digital platforms or applications.

• Experience with advanced rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based practice methodologies.
