Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using comprehensive assessment techniques to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with physicians' recommendations and address specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to effectively facilitate patient recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and self-management strategies to promote ongoing recovery.
• Document patient progress thoroughly and accurately using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment by delivering excellent customer service and compassionate care at all times.
• Meet performance metrics and utilization targets while contributing to the overall success of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, pediatric patients, and those with neurological conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for effective patient interaction and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficient in using word processing and computerized documentation tools.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with patients and their families to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's Degree is the minimum qualification, we prefer applicants with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will be an advantage, particularly with evidence-based treatments that ensure efficient recovery processes. Candidates who can demonstrate proficiency in working with diverse populations, including pediatrics and athletes, will be prioritized.
