Enterprise Sales director (AI-Native Security)

About the Company & the Role Our client is a well-backed identity and security company that has spent several years earning trust with a strong base of enterprise customers. They're now launching a new AI-native product line focused on securing how AI agents access internal systems and data, sitting at the intersection of identity infrastructure and AI workflows. As security and AI converge, they're looking for a Sales Director to help lead enterprise go-to-market for this new product across North America. This is a strategic, hands‑on role for someone who is both a strong enterprise seller and an emerging sales leader. You will work closely with founders and product leadership to build pipeline, close complex enterprise deals, and help scale a global sales motion in a fast-moving environment. We're looking for a builder who sees this as a growth opportunity, someone who is excited to be deeply involved in both execution and leadership. What You’ll Do Drive and own complex enterprise sales cycles across North America, from discovery through close Build strong outbound and relationship‑driven pipeline within the security ecosystem Personally engage with CISOs, platform engineering teams, infrastructure leaders, and executive stakeholders Lead strategic customer engagements, including technical validation, procurement, and executive alignment Translate the platform's capabilities into clear business, security, governance, and risk‑reduction outcomes Mentor and support a growing global sales team while continuing to contribute as an individual seller Partner closely with founders, product, marketing, and engineering to refine positioning, ICP, messaging, and GTM strategy Help establish scalable enterprise sales processes, playbooks, and forecasting discipline Develop and expand strategic partnerships within the security and AI ecosystem Represent the company externally within the security and AI infrastructure community What We’re Looking For 7+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity, cloud, identity, infrastructure, or developer-focused sales A track record of independently building pipeline and closing complex enterprise deals A strong network and credibility with CISOs, security leaders, and enterprise technology stakeholders Previous team leadership or mentoring experience (team lead, pod lead, or player‑coach background preferred) Experience with strategic partnerships, alliances, or ecosystem-driven sales motions A strong understanding of security architectures, APIs, integrations, identity models, governance, and cloud infrastructure Comfort operating as both an individual contributor and a team leader A hands‑on mentality with a strong work ethic and a willingness to roll up your sleeves Strong executive communication skills alongside technical credibility The ability to thrive in an early‑stage, fast‑moving, founder‑led environment Comfort navigating ambiguity while helping build structure and repeatability #J-18808-Ljbffr ClosedWon Talent
