Work Environment

Working onsite at Benchmark PT Clinic, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that comprises physical therapists, athletic trainers, and administrative staff dedicated to patient-centered care. Our facility is equipped with advanced technologies and resources, allowing for comprehensive assessments and tailored treatment plans. As part of our commitment to a drug-free workplace and health safety, compliance with vaccination policies is mandatory. Weekly work hours are set at 40 hours, with potential variable weekends based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients suffering from functional limitations and disabilities, developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding patients' ongoing care and ensure continuity of treatment across various services.
• Implement and monitor patient treatments while adhering to the highest standards of clinical documentation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and referral sources to enhance coordination of care.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives, quality improvement programs, and assist in marketing strategies for the clinic.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Conduct staff training sessions and contribute to professional development programs focused on enhancing the skills of team members.
• Engage in ongoing education through workshops and continuing education programs to maintain clinical competence and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population you will interact with includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, focusing on culturally competent care that addresses both physical and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers.
• Proficiency in using word processing and electronic health record systems for patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is preferred, as is familiarity with a variety of treatment modalities. Candidates with prior community outreach and leadership experience will find an advantage in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
