As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 08:45 AM - 04:45 PM Tue 08:45 AM - 04:45 PM Wed 08:45 AM - 04:45 PM Thur 08:45 AM - 04:45 PM Fri 08:45 AM - 04:45 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of restricted areas and sensitive banking operations. Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. An armed guard card or license is required. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
