Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.Click HERE to discover how we empower team members to grow, thrive, and advance in their careers.We Love Our Work.What does River City Casino & Hotel have to offer?Day 1 medical, dental, & vision benefits!Uber benefit for nearby metro stops.Recognition programs with cash rewards, gift cards, & more.Tuition Reimbursement, Lindenwood University Discounts, & Diversity Scholarship for Team Member's children.As a Line Cook you will,Pay: $17.00 per hour | Shift: 2:00pm- 9:30pm pm or 3:00 pm- 11:30 amPrepares food items following standard recipes and menu plans to ensure quality and consistency.Handles food prep tasks including washing, cutting, and cooking ingredients.Tests food for proper preparation using tasting, smelling, and visual inspection.Maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation per health regulations.Coordinates with dining room staff and communicates orders effectively.Completes prep sheets, side duties, and follows opening/closing procedures.Operates kitchen equipment safely and maintains assigned areas.Participates in scheduled training programs.Follows SOP guidelines and maintains strict confidentiality at all times.Bring Us Your Best.Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Line Cook preferred.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.Must have basic reading and math skills for recipes and measurements.Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide variety of food items, to standard, in a high-volume, fast-paced operation.Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the application of sanitation procedures.Stay In The Game.
