Wellcure Mental Therapeutic Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while also including responsibilities within our outpatient clinic setting in Scottsdale, Arizona. Ideal candidates will possess fluency in Spanish or Portuguese and will provide crucial therapy services to children and adolescents facing developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Work Environment\n

Our clinic operates in a flexible remote work model, allowing our therapists to engage with clients from comfortable settings while also providing necessary community-based intervention. The outpatient office serves as a hub for collaborative teamwork, where our specialized Child Family Treatment Team collaborates with mental health professionals across various disciplines to ensure holistic support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions in client homes or at our outpatient facility, tailoring your approach to each child's unique context and needs.

• Implement effective interventions aimed at improving coping strategies, social skills, and anger management to reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or physical aggression.
\n
• Work closely with adolescents and their families to enhance decision-making abilities and develop strategies to manage behavioral issues at home.
\n
• Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve cohesive treatment goals.
\n
• Accurately maintain, document, and submit essential records including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings and provide valuable insights and recommendations based on your clinical experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is integral to supporting children and adolescents aged 3-20 who experience a variety of challenges related to intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your work will directly contribute to improving their quality of life by equipping them and their families with the tools necessary for effective communication, emotional regulation, and behavioral management.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory for application.
\n
• Availability of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours from 4 PM to 7 PM, with a willingness to be flexible on weekends as needed.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for community-based sessions.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting is a condition of employment.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing positive behavior support methods is strongly preferred.

• Prior experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with intellectual or developmental disabilities, is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
