Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to individual goals.

• Create personalized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.

• Provide individual therapy through teletherapy platforms, ensuring clients receive consistent support regardless of their geographic location.

• Offer crisis intervention services to clients in urgent need, utilizing best practices to ensure safety and emotional stabilization.

• Engage in active professional development to remain informed about the latest advancements in psychiatry, counseling, and mental health best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work with a diverse clientele, including adults experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship challenges. As part of the Medchoice team, you will be providing essential support to individuals seeking to improve their mental wellbeing and reach their personal health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
\n
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect empathetically with clients.
\n
• A compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy, fostering a safe environment for client expression.
\n
• Strong organizational and time management skills, effectively balancing client care with administrative responsibilities.
\n
• No disciplinary actions on record with licensing boards.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and delivering virtual mental health services is highly desirable.

• Background in crisis intervention and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.

• Competitive salary between $90,000 to $104,000 annually, based on client caseload and experience.
