Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy to adult clients within our outpatient pain management clinic, focusing on emotional and psychological challenges related to chronic pain.

• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational classes aimed at equipping clients with coping strategies and tools for managing their psychological and emotional responses to pain.

• Conduct brief therapy sessions to monitor and assess clinical progress for individuals enrolled in the Functional Restoration Program (FRP), adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure progress and adherence to therapeutic goals.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the multifaceted aspects of chronic pain and associated psychological disorders.

• Maintain clinical best practices based on the latest research in pain psychology, ensuring clients receive informed care tailored to their specific needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to refer clients to additional therapeutic modalities, fostering an integrated approach to treatment that includes physical rehabilitation and psychotherapy.

• Document all clinical interactions and treatment plans efficiently within our EMR system for continuity of care and compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will predominantly consist of adults who have experienced workplace injuries and are navigating complex emotional landscapes characterized by anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journeys through targeted psychological interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work.

• Active California License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW).
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing psychological services.

• Proficiency in therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions.
