Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy sessions to adult clients in an outpatient pain clinic setting, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

• Conduct weekly psychoeducational classes aimed at enhancing client understanding of pain management strategies and psychological coping mechanisms.
\n
• Implement brief individual therapy sessions for clients participating in the Functional Recovery Program (FRP), closely evaluating their progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary.

• Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for your active caseload, ensuring all client needs are met effectively.
\n
• Document and maintain accurate records of all client interactions and progress within our EMR system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Collaborate with other health professionals within the clinic to create a comprehensive care plan for patients that addresses both their physical and psychological needs.

• Provide clinical care that aligns with best practices in pain psychology, continuously updating your knowledge and skills to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with patients who have sustained injuries at work, many of whom experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and physical pain. You will apply an integrative therapeutic approach that recognizes the multifaceted nature of their challenges and emphasizes resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active California state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in providing mental health services, particularly in settings relevant to chronic pain management.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients and collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.

• Sound judgment and the ability to navigate complex patient situations with empathy and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
