Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized therapy to adult clients in an outpatient pain management context, using evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs.

• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational classes designed to educate clients about coping strategies and therapeutic interventions related to chronic pain management.

• Conduct brief therapeutic sessions for individuals in our Functional Recovery Program (FRP), monitoring and evaluating their clinical progress regularly.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for active caseloads, coordinating care with other clinicians where necessary.

• Implement clinical practices that are informed by the latest research in pain psychology, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards in all client interactions.

• Utilize our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to document all aspects of client care accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records for ongoing treatment evaluations.

• Make appropriate referrals for additional therapeutic modalities available within the clinic, ensuring a holistic treatment plan for each client.

The clients you will serve primarily consist of individuals who have experienced work-related injuries, leading to complex mental health conditions such as PTSD, chronic anxiety, and depression. Many of these clients are dealing with persistent physical pain, making an integrated therapeutic approach vital. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active California license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
