Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual therapy to adult clients at an outpatient pain clinic, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address mental health challenges associated with chronic pain.

• Conduct weekly psychoeducational class sessions designed to inform and empower clients about pain management techniques and coping strategies.

• Perform detailed assessments and formulate personalized treatment plans based on the needs of clients, continuously evaluating their progress throughout the program.

• Deliver brief individual therapy sessions to clients enrolled in the Functional Recovery Program (FRP), focusing on facilitating their clinical goals and mitigating barriers to recovery.

• Implement best practices in pain psychology, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are informed by the latest research and clinical guidelines.
\n
• Serve as a liaison, referring clients to additional therapeutic and medical modalities within the clinic as necessary to foster comprehensive treatment.

• Accurately document all client interactions and treatment plans within the EMR system, safeguarding compliance with legal and ethical standards for patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population includes adults recovering from workplace injuries who suffer from chronic pain, anxiety, and depression related to their experiences. Our clients may also present with trauma histories that complicate their recovery process. The clinician will adopt an empathetic approach to establish trust and rapport, ensuring that each client feels heard and supported in their journey toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active California License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing therapeutic interventions, ideally specializing in chronic pain management.

• Proficiency in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-oriented interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Anchor Therapy, LLC offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
