Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the execution of personalized physical therapy treatment plans focused on alleviating pain, restoring function, and enhancing the overall performance of our clients.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patient functionality and developing tailored rehabilitation strategies based on clinical findings.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants in executing therapy plans, ensuring high standards of care are upheld throughout the treatment process.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and modalities, including manual techniques, therapeutic agents, and mechanical modalities, to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes.
• Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to review patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary, enhancing collaboration in treatment delivery.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations and progress notes, to ensure the continuity of care and compliance with regulations.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation techniques, lifestyle modifications, and device use.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily be working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse patient population requires personalized care approaches, making it essential for you to assess individual needs and adapt therapy accordingly. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Virginia, with no disciplinary actions.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapist in acute care or home care settings is required, candidates with advanced training or certifications specific to orthopedic physical therapy will be highly valued.
