Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work environment, providing flexibility while ensuring high-quality patient care. The outlook is to maintain a collaborative setting where counselors can engage in regular consultations with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff. Your work hours will primarily be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the understanding that some scheduling flexibility may be necessary based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patients’ needs and create individualized treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused therapy, and others to provide treatment to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at common mental health challenges, fostering a supportive community environment.

• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care planning and execution.

• Provide crisis intervention services and act quickly to support patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and relevant community resources, empowering them to engage in their recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to continuously enhance clinical skills and team cohesion.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve a diverse clientele, representing various ages, backgrounds, and presenting conditions. You will be responsible for formulating treatment plans for individuals experiencing a spectrum of mental health disorders, offering tailored support that promotes recovery and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Current licensure as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Solid foundation in the principles and practices of mental health counseling, with an ability to implement evidence-based treatment modalities effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach that prioritizes empathy and understanding.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals suffering from mental health disorders in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Harmonius Mental Health Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
