Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, utilizing validated assessment tools and interviews to gather comprehensive data.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that are evidence-based and culturally sensitive, ensuring that each client’s unique circumstances are considered.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, facilitate group therapy, and conduct family counseling, adapting approaches based on each client's situation and needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults aged 18 and above dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field; a Master’s degree in counseling or clinical psychology is strongly preferred.

• Active and valid license as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York (LMHC).

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience offering mental health counseling services in a clinical or community setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
