Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and building positive, trust-based relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, monitor stability, schedule appointments, and discuss possible discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.

• Keep detailed and up-to-date documentation, including comprehensive progress notes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Perform thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and ensure appropriate treatment options are presented.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Lowland Behavioral Health Center, you will work predominantly with adults, children, and families facing a diverse array of mental health challenges. Your expertise will be critical in providing both therapeutic interventions and crisis support, ensuring that each client receives utmost care tailored to their specific circumstances and treatment goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.

• Current and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating your ability to effectively support mental health recovery and wellness.

• Proficiency in computer literacy including, but not limited to, Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with telehealth platforms and providing virtual counseling services.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our LPCs are compensated competitively within the industry with an annual salary range of $75,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We utilize a Fee-for-Service model that guarantees secure payment rates, ensuring that you are compensated promptly—no waiting for reimbursements. Additional benefits include:
