This position operates within a detox center’s framework, allowing our social workers to interact with clients in a supportive, structured environment. The role is fully remote, offering flexibility while maintaining robust training and collaboration with your interdisciplinary treatment team consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, and recovery specialists. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Crown Marriage & Family Therapy Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive behavioral health psychosocial assessments to gauge client needs, strengths, and potential barriers to progress.

• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions to provide therapeutic support tailored to the unique challenges faced by clients, particularly in periods of crisis or transition.

• Identifying community resources and advocating for clients to help them gain access to essential services such as healthcare, housing, and financial assistance.
\n
• Coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery and continuity for each client.
\n
• Developing and implementing case management plans that are individualized and goal-focused, supporting clients through their recovery process.
\n
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Responding promptly and effectively to crisis situations, including mental health emergencies and instances of abuse, using established protocols and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. A significant focus will be on clients who are transitioning through detox and seeking long-term recovery resources. Your role will involve not only addressing immediate mental health needs but also equipping clients with tools to navigate life’s challenges, such as family dynamics, employment barriers, and social support systems.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current California BBS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of documented experience in a behavioral health setting, particularly in substance use or mental health services.

• Experience working with veteran populations, preferably involving issues pertinent to their unique healthcare needs.

• A strong understanding of psychosocial assessments, interview techniques, suicide assessments, and community resources relevant to recovery.

• Knowledge and skill in therapeutic methodologies related to individual, group, and family therapy is essential.
