Senior Account Executive

We're currently seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our growing team. The Senior Account Executive (SAE) plays a lead role on their accounts, with responsibilities including demonstrating exceptional media relations skills, managing multiple projects, and mentoring junior team members. SAEs are expected to be emerging leaders and ambassadors of the firm.

At Prosek, all team members are expected to be strong team players, participate in brainstorms and creative strategy planning, and act entrepreneurially in building media relationships and new business prospects. We encourage unboxed thinking and expect clever, witty, quick ideas from every team member.

What you’ll be doing
  • Guide the team to maintain account infrastructure, including editorial calendars and media target lists
  • Understand the media landscape relevant to your clients’ businesses and industries; identify how to reach target outlets
  • Demonstrate creative thinking when developing pitches
  • Oversee reporting and analysis of campaign results and present results to clients
  • Maintain and grow strong relationships with journalists covering client industries
  • Draft press releases, announcements, fact sheets, bylines, blog posts, and related materials
  • Show strong copy-editing and proofreading skills
  • Write with an audience-appropriate tone and storytelling approach
  • Demonstrate expertise in clients’ businesses and competitors; provide strategic counsel for campaign components
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities on accounts
What makes you qualified
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • B.S. in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong interest in financial services, professional services, technology, and/or B2B communications
  • Adept in Cision, Factiva, IQ Media, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong project management skills; able to oversee daily scans, reporting, meeting agendas, and timesheets

The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000. Salary is determined by factors including experience, qualifications, location, performance, and business needs. Benefits may include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and other rewards.
