Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry to hematology and immunology-while adhering to established protocols.
• Assess and validate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for various tests as required.
• Keep meticulous records of all laboratory processes, mentor new staff and students, and uphold the highest standards of laboratory quality.
• Ensure a clean and secure working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health discipline, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain ongoing certification throughout your employment.
