Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify co-occurring disorders and establish individualized treatment plans based on each client's unique history and requirements.

• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to help clients achieve their recovery goals.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on critical themes such as addiction recovery, trauma processing, and the management of mental health conditions.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans as warranted, ensuring adaptability to dynamic needs.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and social workers, to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, emphasizing the intricacies of mental health, addiction recovery strategies, and long-term wellness.

• Maintain up-to-date client records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards for privacy and confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults facing challenges related to substance use disorders, alongside co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. This diverse population requires a counselor who is empathetic and highly skilled in addressing the nuanced interplay between addiction and mental health, facilitating holistic recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution or university.

• At least three years of recent experience providing mental health support within a rehabilitation or community health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
