Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining an engaging team culture. Our practice operates Monday through Friday, with core business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and occasional evening shifts may be required to meet the needs of our patients. You will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals, including child psychiatrists and fellow mental health counselors, in a supportive outpatient setting that values communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the needs, challenges, and strengths of each child and adolescent client.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices, ensuring they consider developmental stages and family dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will navigate dynamic family systems, ensuring that treatment approaches are family-centered and culturally appropriate, ultimately aiming to create a positive impact on the lives of young patients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a child and adolescent mental health setting is preferred.
\n
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders in children and adolescents, along with effective evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in providing individual and family therapy focused on young clients.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to empathize and connect with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience utilizing play therapy or cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques specific to treating children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
