This position operates within a fully remote setting, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home while ensuring the highest standard of care. Our telehealth facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, allowing for seamless virtual therapy sessions. A flexible work schedule that primarily includes weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary, fosters a work-life balance that supports your well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their psychological, emotional, and social needs.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, taking into account the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each young patient.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to address specific mental health concerns effectively.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower caregivers to foster a supportive and nurturing environment at home.
\n
• Engage in close collaboration with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment continuity for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services to children and adolescents facing emergencies, equipping them with coping strategies and immediate support.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment plans, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to continually enhance your therapeutic approach and skills.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to enrich practice and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to behavior issues and developmental disorders. You will work closely with young clients and their families to foster resilience, emotional regulation, and healthy coping strategies in a safe and supportive virtual environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a robust understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders.
\n
• Proficient in delivering therapeutic interventions both in individual and family settings.
\n
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and client-centered approach to care.

• A proven ability to build rapport and trust with children and adolescents and their families.
\n
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems and related technology to enhance service delivery.

• A collaborative spirit, eager to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, demonstrating adaptability and proficiency with virtual therapy modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
