Active Life PT is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in beautiful Daytona Beach, Florida. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. Your primary responsibilities will include designing personalized treatment plans and delivering evidence-based physical therapy services aimed at restoring function and preventing further injury.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work in our vibrant Rehabilitation Center, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment and a welcoming atmosphere. Our facility is designed to facilitate physical rehabilitation and incorporates private treatment rooms, open spaces for group exercises, and areas tailored for specialized therapies. With regular working hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, you will have the opportunity to focus entirely on delivering optimal patient care while enjoying work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition, devising individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide hands-on therapy utilizing a variety of techniques, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to facilitate healing and increase mobility.
• Manage a personalized caseload, ensuring sufficient attention and care for each patient. You will be empowered to dedicate the time necessary to achieve the best outcomes.
• Utilize EMR software, specifically WebPT, for detailed documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health records requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize recovery.
• Educate patients on their conditions and rehabilitation strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to coordinate multi-disciplinary care efforts, ensuring comprehensive treatment.
• Actively promote a healthy lifestyle by guiding patients in strengthening, flexibility, balance, and conditioning exercises.
• Foster a motivating environment that encourages patient adherence to treatment regimens and inspires confidence in their abilities.
• Maintain meticulous records of services provided, ensuring all documentation accurately reflects the care delivered and supports the patient's progress and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Active Life PT, we cater to a diverse patient population which includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-stroke rehabilitation. The ideal Physical Therapist will have experience and passion for working with adult patients in an outpatient setting, understanding their specific challenges and the best practices for facilitating their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a doctorate in physical therapy is preferred.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean history free from sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a strong grasp of current physical therapy methodologies supported by rigorous research.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient clinic, specifically with orthopedic patients, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, to optimize patient care and documentation.
• Experience in creating and executing tailored exercise programs that effectively address individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
