Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients that include reviewing medical histories, administering specific assessments, and documenting findings to inform treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies effectively to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting to encourage active participation in their recovery.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, adjusting methods based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals as needed, identifying and documenting changes in patient conditions that may necessitate a revision of the treatment plan.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care comprehensively, ensuring timely documentation and communication of each patient's treatment course, including evaluations and progress summaries.
• Demonstrate time management skills by adhering to productivity expectations, maintaining an accurate schedule, and attending all scheduled meetings punctually.
• Engage in hospital and community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote our services and enhance the visibility of our clinic within the Daytona Beach area.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals, comply with relevant regulations, and take part in quality improvement initiatives.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry developments and foster personal growth.
• Support efforts to improve patient access and experience, actively addressing barriers to care and engaging in quality measurements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with diverse outpatient populations, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
