Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient mobility, pain levels, and overall physical function.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and ensure the efficacy of interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, ergonomic practices, and home exercise programs to facilitate recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and therapeutic interventions in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and optimize care plans across various disciplines.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest physical therapy techniques and advancements to provide cost-effective treatments while minimizing reliance on medications or surgical options.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients ranging from young adults to seniors, many of whom are recovering from joint surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our patient-centric approach means that you will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients, providing personalized care that addresses their unique challenges and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record free from disciplinary actions or board complaints against your license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise programs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or dry needling.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and experience in maintaining accurate patient records.
• History of collaboration within a multidisciplinary team setting, especially with orthopedic surgeons and rehabilitation specialists.

Compensation and Benefits
