Work Environment

The position entails working in an onsite home care facility, where you will engage directly with patients in a comfortable and supportive environment. The facility is designed to be welcoming and conducive to therapeutic practices. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a standard work-life balance while serving our clients' needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the goals and requirements of each patient, ensuring individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain an effective patient load of one patient per hour, optimizing time for thorough therapies and personal interaction.
• Utilize prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to administer therapies that effectively enhance range of motion and mobility.
• Develop and implement cost-effective treatment strategies that encourage patients to minimize reliance on medications and explore non-surgical solutions.
• Create detailed treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques customized for each patient's circumstances.
• Design and adapt fitness and wellness programs as per patient-specific needs, facilitating optimal recovery.
• Deliver high-quality care that reflects solid evidence-based practices and proven therapeutic interventions.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to help them achieve their functionality goals.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle modifications by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and provide comprehensive care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, track patient progress effectively, and ensure open lines of communication with patients and their families.
• Document patient services accurately to maintain compliance and support ongoing patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse clientele primarily composed of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Our focus is on enabling these patients to regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored intervention strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no record of disciplinary action.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design of effective exercise programs.
• Experience in utilizing EMR software such as WebPT to manage and document patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy environments, providing a solid foundation to address complex rehabilitation needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with patients and families alike.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an annual salary range of USD 75,000 to 95,000 .
