Work Environment

This position is based at our onsite Rehabilitation Center, which spans 5,000 square feet and is fully equipped with advanced sports medicine technology. You will be part of a collaborative team of three physical therapists, working together to share knowledge and expertise while treating a variety of patient cases. The center focuses on both commercial insurance and private pay patients, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify individual patient needs and establish personalized therapy goals.
• Provide one-on-one treatments, dedicating approximately 40 minutes per patient to maximize effectiveness and engagement.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to design and implement treatment plans aimed at improving motion and mobility.
• Document all patient interactions and progress accurately using our EMR system, Athena Health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, including fitness and wellness programs designed to promote long-term health.
• Motivate patients during their rehabilitation journey to improve strength, balance, and overall physical fitness.
• Work with a variety of patients, from athletes seeking to enhance performance to individuals in recovery from debilitating conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including athletes and individuals recovering from surgery or injury. Your focus will be on enhancing their physical capabilities, teaching them techniques to manage pain, and reducing reliance on medications. The goal is to empower patients to regain their independence and lead healthier lives.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida State license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with treatment practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience treating athletes or patients with specific orthopedic needs.
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation techniques and a broad range of therapeutic modalities.
• Proven success in developing and implementing fitness/wellness programs tailored to individual requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your financial, health, and work-life balance:
