Key Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of all patient and proprietary information while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Understand and implement company policies, including harassment prevention and compliance procedures.
• Uphold professional integrity by adhering to our Code of Conduct and completing required compliance training.
• Engage in community health initiatives to promote wellness and health education.
• Proficiently utilize Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for documentation and communication.
• Coordinate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to establish and execute optimal treatment plans.
• Demonstrate excellent body mechanics during therapy sessions to ensure safety for both patients and staff.
• Utilize sound clinical judgment to make independent decisions when clinical situations arise.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and procedures relevant to outpatient therapy.
• Implement and assess departmental policies, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and patient care objectives.
• Maintain a professional rapport with colleagues, patients, and vendors, creating a cohesive care environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, with a significant focus on spine surgery rehabilitation. Our patient population encompasses a wide range of demographics, allowing you to apply varied therapeutic techniques. You'll play a vital role in guiding patients to recovery through hands-on therapy, education, and support tailored to their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MSPT or DPT preferred for graduates of 2003 or later).
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist with good standing and the ability to maintain this status throughout employment.
• Current CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain valid during employment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, particularly with spine surgery rehabilitation, is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy methodologies, rehabilitation practices, and patient-focused treatment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to efficiently manage patient documentation.
