Work Environment

This role is primarily an onsite position where you will engage with patients directly in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting findings to determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Effectively communicate evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, involving them actively in setting goals to meet their rehabilitation needs.

• Demonstrate expertise in implementing treatment protocols that align with evaluation findings and adapt to the changing healthcare landscape.

• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals when necessary, ensuring continuity of care and adjusting treatment plans in response to patients' evolving conditions.

• Develop comprehensive discharge plans and follow-up care to facilitate a seamless transition for patients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all care activities.

• Exhibit strong time management skills, maintaining an organized schedule while meeting productivity expectations in a fast-paced environment.

• Play an active role in achieving departmental goals and comply with accreditation and governmental regulations, fostering a culture of excellence in practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and competencies.

• Utilize patient feedback and CSI measurement data to improve access to care and patient experiences, actively participating in initiatives aimed at minimizing barriers to access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The focus is on restoring function and mobility, ultimately improving the quality of life for our patients.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Florida is essential.

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.

• While prior work experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings is a plus, but not a requirement.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems can enhance the efficiency of documentation and patient care activities.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
