Work Environment

This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center situated in the scenic coastal city of New Smyrna Beach. The role typically follows a schedule from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for either 8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM work hours, or the option to work four 10-hour shifts. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' movement disorders and mobility limitations, effectively diagnosing their physical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, incorporating appropriate therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapy sessions that utilize advanced rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized equipment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to monitor and adjust treatment plans based on progressive patient needs and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, rehabilitation strategies, and techniques essential for recovery and long-term well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinic primarily serves adult patients with various conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, to chronic pain syndromes. Our comprehensive approach is aimed at treating not just the recovery of movement, but also the functional integration of patients back into their everyday lives, whether that means returning to work, resuming hobbies, or enhancing overall wellness.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current or eligible Florida Physical Therapy License is required to practice.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from hand and upper extremity injuries.

Compensation and Benefits
