Work Environment

This position will be performed onsite in our welcoming outpatient clinic, designed to provide a comfortable and therapeutic setting for patients undergoing rehabilitation. Our facility includes state-of-the-art equipment and a team approach to care, promoting collaboration among physical therapists and other healthcare professionals. The work hours are set from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate each patient's individual needs and limitations through detailed physical examinations.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, focusing on non-surgical recovery methods.
• Implement individualized therapy sessions that improve patients' strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy modalities and exercise programs, to support recovery.
• Closely monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Our patient population includes active individuals and athletes from the local community, as well as elderly clients who require support for mobility challenges. Your role will involve creating engaging, customized programs that inspire and empower patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• A strong understanding of manual therapies and rehabilitation techniques is expected.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is essential for effective documentation and communication.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practice methodologies in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting, specifically in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
