Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments that address disability prevention, pain relief, muscle function enhancement, and overall health restoration.
• Direct and oversee the implementation of the treatment plans by physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to best practices and legal requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tools to assess client function, including muscle, nerve, joint evaluation, and physical abilities.
• Analyze the physical environment of clients to recommend modifications that support rehabilitation and promote independence.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities including manual exercises, traction, massage, and application of physical agents as part of treatment plans.
• Evaluate and adjust the use of assistive devices, engaging with physicians for recommendations and authoritative input on changes needed for optimal patient support.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, for compliance and review processes.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and share insights on client progress.
• Educate clients and their families on therapy procedures, device usage, and overall wellness approaches to facilitate active participation in their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain timely communication regarding clinical documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and organizational policies.
• Provide guidance and supervision to physical therapy assistants, ensuring the quality of care delivered to our clients.
• Continuously assess and improve clinical processes, showcasing a commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with outpatient clients who have a range of orthopedic and neurological conditions requiring physical rehabilitation. This includes working with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain, and functional impairments. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with an emphasis on outpatient care.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, maintained in good standing.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with appropriate insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
