Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Tufts Physical Therapy, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks that form the foundation of outstanding patient care:

• Assess and evaluate patients referred by physicians, establishing personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and medical history.
• Execute interventions that encompass a blend of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and education tailored to the patient's specific conditions.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring alignment with the physician's plan of care.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport with patients and creating a supportive healing environment.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve treating a diverse patient population with an array of conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic injuries, pediatric challenges, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. This variety not only enhances your clinical skills but also deepens the therapeutic relationships you establish with patients and their families, as you guide them through their unique recovery journeys.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physiotherapy in Florida.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from a recognized organization.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a proficiency in word processing and other computer skills.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:

Compensation and Benefits
