Work Environment

Operating from our fully-equipped rehabilitation center in Daytona Beach, you will work in a supportive and collaborative environment alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Our onsite facility is designed to facilitate comprehensive care, featuring various specialized treatment areas and state-of-the-art equipment for optimal patient support. You will engage in a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours a week, fostering a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and physical capabilities, developing personalized treatment plans that align with physicians' referrals.
• Implement therapeutic procedures effectively, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to treat patients across a spectrum of specialties, including orthopedic cases, pediatric therapy, neurological rehabilitation, and sports medicine.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with patients and contributing to a welcoming clinic atmosphere.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their caregivers about treatment protocols, self-care strategies, and preventive measures to enhance recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records to track progress and fulfill insurance requirements.
• Actively participate in clinic initiatives aimed at meeting utilization goals and enhancing overall business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, athletes, and adults recovering from surgeries or injuries. Your ability to tailor therapy approaches to meet the specific needs of each patient will be essential in helping them achieve their individual rehabilitation milestones. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• Current certification in CPR is mandatory.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Strong proficiency in using computerized documentation systems and clinical software.
• Capability to establish rapport with patients, fostering an environment where they feel supported in surpassing their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working within a rehabilitation center or outpatient facility is preferred.
