Cayanan Physical Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Daytona Beach, Florida. Work Environment

This position will be performed onsite at our rehabilitation center, which features an inviting atmosphere fully equipped for advanced therapy techniques. As part of our team, you would collaborate closely with other healthcare experts, including Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and fitness professionals, in a supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and teamwork. Your work hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of new patients to develop personalized treatment plans based on their specific health goals and conditions.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions, employing various manual therapy techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and exercises tailored to improve patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and overall functionality.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the importance of adherence to treatment plans, including home exercise programs.
• Engage patients through motivational techniques, enhancing their commitment to rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to track progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress evaluations to maximize recovery potential.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate holistic care and address any emergent patient needs efficiently.
• Guide patients in adopting healthy lifestyle choices to prevent future injuries and promote overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our center, you will work primarily with outpatient clients, ranging from athletes to individuals recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions. Our patient demographics are diverse, allowing you to utilize and further develop your proficiency in treating various orthopedic and neurological conditions. This role involves helping patients regain mobility, relieve pain, and return to their daily activities and sports.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a relevant equivalent degree.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Prior clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating the ability to create and execute effective rehabilitation plans.
• Proficient in employing a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, ensuring seamless documentation and patient management.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and current trends in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in sports medicine or rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary environment is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of achieving positive patient outcomes through effective therapy interventions.
• Experience in developing community outreach programs that advocate for patient health and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
