Work Environment

This role is based onsite in the homes of our clients, providing a unique and diverse work environment where no two days are the same. As a Physical Therapist with New Body Strategy Therapy, you will engage with patients in the comfort of their homes, allowing for a more personalized approach to therapy that accommodates their daily living conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, creating comprehensive treatment plans based on individual goals and needs.
• Consult and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Document and track patient care history meticulously, maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards to uphold quality assurance.
• Implement treatment plans involving therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safety measures, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment interventions, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Engage with patients' families to foster a supportive environment, providing guidance on how they can assist in the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Must hold an active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
