Work Environment

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Easy Start Therapy, you will work onsite in various patient residences throughout Daytona Beach. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families on exercise techniques, home modifications, and injury prevention strategies.
• Foster an environment of safety and sanitation, ensuring that all therapeutic interventions are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities to maintain a high standard of care and personal growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
• Maintain and enhance professional relationships with healthcare associates and vendors, promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient records and adhere to compliance standards and regulations governing physical therapy practice.
• Exhibit integrity and professionalism by adhering to our Code of Conduct and completing required training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily focus on outpatient orthopedics, with an emphasis on patients undergoing rehabilitation from spine surgery and other joint-related procedures. This role requires sensitivity to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment that fosters both emotional and physical healing.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be preferred.
• Current licensed registration to practice physical therapy in Florida, with an active status throughout the duration of employment.
• CPR certification must be obtained at hire or during the orientation process. This certification should remain current and in good standing throughout the employee's tenure.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedics is highly desirable, with a particular focus on rehabilitation following spine surgery or other musculoskeletal conditions. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary to facilitate documentation and communication with affiliated healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience.
