Work Environment

This position is fully onsite, focusing on home care, which allows you to work directly within community settings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with physician recommendations.
• Administer a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and manual techniques consistently.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about the treatment process and home exercise programs, ensuring they understand how to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with the care team.
• Maintain open lines of communication with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Manage patient caseloads efficiently in accordance with established health guidelines and departmental protocols.
• Enhance the patient experience by exemplifying excellent customer service and empathy throughout all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population includes individuals of all ages with diverse conditions, ranging from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric clients, and sports injuries. You will be addressing unique challenges faced by these individuals, guiding them through tailored rehabilitation programs that enhance mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, valid through the American Heart Association.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in utilizing word processing and healthcare documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy is preferred.
• Experience working in home care settings with a focus on patient-centered treatments.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies and outcome measurement tools.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly, based on experience and qualifications.
