Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual goals and physical needs, establishing tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload, focusing on delivering one-on-one care for each patient during their hourly sessions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment modalities that focus on manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions.
• Educate patients on self-care strategies, biomechanics, and techniques for enhancing their recovery trajectories.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Support lifestyle modifications to promote strength, flexibility, and overall wellness in our patients.
• Encourage patient motivation and engagement throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinic primarily serves patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-surgical recovery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our diverse clientele consists of adults and elderly patients, promoting an inclusive environment that values personalized communication and care.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no records of board or disciplinary action.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a solid understanding of patient needs and treatment modalities relevant to this specialization. Additional certifications in specialized treatment techniques are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
