Work Environment

You will be working in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the scenic coastal city of Port Orange, Florida. The work setting is structured for maximum patient engagement and interaction, allowing you to create personalized treatment plans while collaborating with team members in a supportive atmosphere. Our working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Impact Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and establish personalized treatment goals.
• Designing and implementing effective rehabilitation programs that utilize evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Providing hands-on treatment and rehabilitation interventions to enhance patient mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress throughout the recovery journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Educating patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote best practices for long-term health.
• Building cooperative relationships with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to streamline patient care and improve outcomes.
• Inspiring and motivating patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals while ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on patients with a diverse range of orthopedic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries. You will engage with individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or seeking prehabilitation exercises to enhance performance. The care you provide will directly impact their ability to return to daily activities and improve overall health and well-being.

Qualifications

Candidates interested in this position must have the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, specifically with a strong emphasis on treating musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proven skill set in patient assessment, treatment planning, and executing individualized care strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, their families, and a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• A patient-centered approach with the ability to establish rapport and adjust treatment based on emotional and psychological factors influencing recovery.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Experience with advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques, including ultrasound therapy, manual therapy, and functional exercise programs.
