Work Environment

Your workspace will be in our contemporary outpatient office, located in the heart of Daytona Beach, which is known for its vibrant community and proximity to beautiful beaches. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a supportive environment equipped with the latest technology and tools necessary for providing effective patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical statuses and create individualized treatment plans tailored specifically to their needs and goals.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Engage in regular collaboration with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Empower patients and their families through education on treatment plans, home exercises, and preventative strategies to foster long-term wellness.
• Document patient progress comprehensively and timely, ensuring adherence to clinic standards and best practices.
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with outpatient clients facing a wide array of orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgical procedures, those struggling with chronic pain, and athletes seeking rehabilitation following injuries. Your role will involve tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each patient, utilizing your knowledge of therapeutic modalities and patient assessment techniques to guide their recovery process effectively.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• A strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation protocols, with a keen understanding of patient assessment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to establish rapport and effectively manage a caseload.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) is highly advantageous, facilitating accurate documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, although new graduates passionate about orthopedic therapy are welcome to apply.
• Hands-on experience with various treatment modalities and a solid understanding of evidence-based practices will be beneficial to your success in this role.
