Serenity Motion Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our onsite team at our Rehabilitation Center located in Port Orange, Florida. We maintain a manageable caseload, allowing you to devote adequate time and attention to each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to assess their physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on achieving specific patient goals.
• Monitor and manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and tailored therapy.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and evidence-based modalities to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Design and lead personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique conditions and aspirations of each patient.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously, ensuring clear communication with both patients and referring healthcare professionals.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, offering support and encouragement that fosters their confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes through comprehensive care.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment protocols and modify them as necessary based on ongoing patient assessments.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices, concentrating on improving patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist here, you will engage with a diverse group of patients, each presenting their own set of unique challenges and treatment goals. Your expertise will empower patients to restore function and reclaim their pre-injury capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a higher degree in a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in employing manual therapy techniques with proven outcomes.
• Exceptional skills in creating and executing customized exercise protocols to support patient rehabilitation.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is highly beneficial.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a proven track record of managing patient treatment plans effectively.
• Strong familiarity with a variety of therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques.
• Expertise in patient education and motivational techniques to optimize engagement in the recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
