Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, formulating individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic treatments, including exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment, to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and changes in patient conditions.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers regarding treatment options and self-care strategies, including the use of assistive devices for enhanced mobility and independence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate coordinated patient care and contribute to case discussions regarding patient progress and therapeutic goals.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, professional organizations, and peer networking to stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves a diverse patient population that includes individuals of all ages—children, adults, and seniors—dealing with various diagnoses. From sports injuries to post-operative rehabilitation, our therapists use tailored approaches to address the specific rehabilitation needs of each patient, fostering recovery, wellness, and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
• Proficient in computer skills, including documentation and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient care.
• Experience working with a wide variety of treatment modalities and patient demographics.
• Familiarity with home health care practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
