Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Daytona Beach, our outpatient office is designed to foster recovery and rehabilitation in a welcoming environment. As part of a cohesive team of healthcare professionals, you will work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, collaborating closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care. With a patient volume of approximately two cases per hour, you will have the opportunity to deliver focused, personalized treatment in a manageable setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions, ensuring accurate diagnosis and detailed assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique functional goals, utilizing effective techniques such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, movement mechanics, and injury prevention strategies to promote sustainable recovery.
• Maintain meticulous patient records through our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to track progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate actively with orthopedic physicians and other medical staff to coordinate a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment effectiveness.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in physical therapy practices and integrate new knowledge into your daily routines to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on geriatric patients, particularly those navigating the challenges of recovery from orthopedic surgeries and various musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for rehabilitating elderly patients, tailoring treatment approaches to accommodate their specific needs and limitations.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license issued in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enhance patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and devise appropriate therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
