Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of crucial tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, performing physical exams, and interpreting diagnostic tests to diagnose conditions accurately.
• Formulating and implementing tailored treatment plans while closely coordinating with supervising physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assisting in surgical procedures related to pain management, such as epidural steroid injections and nerve blocks, while also providing immediate post-operative care and follow-up assessments.
• Educating patients and their families on their specific medical conditions, treatment options available, and lifestyle changes that can contribute to their recovery and pain management.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with medical regulations and quality assurance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions, which may include orthopedic issues, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical discomfort. Your expertise in pain management will help improve the quality of life for patients from various backgrounds, requiring a thoughtful and empathetic approach to treatment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active state licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant.
• At least two years of clinically relevant experience, showcasing adaptability across multiple medical specialties.
• Strong clinical skills, particularly in assessment and diagnosis, along with the ability to manage multiple cases concurrently.
• Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide clear information to patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

We welcome candidates who have additional experience in interdisciplinary settings or familiarity with pain management techniques and protocols. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and a commitment to ongoing education and professional development are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 – 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
