Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the unique mental health needs and goals of each client, ensuring they have a clear pathway to recovery.

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.

• Lead couples and family therapy sessions aimed at resolving relationship conflicts, enhancing communication, and fostering healthy family dynamics.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ identified goals, establishing measurable objectives for progress.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health issues, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health, utilizing therapeutic resources and coping strategies to support their journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes, in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Keep current with best practices and legal requirements within the counseling field, ensuring ethical conduct and client confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.

• Demonstrated clinical experience and competency in delivering counseling services across a variety of settings and populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous engagement in a team collaborative environment within a mental health setting.

• Advanced training or certifications in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or EMDR is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 95,000 per year, reflective of experience and qualifications.
