Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain an active caseload of clients, building rapport and fostering supportive therapeutic relationships while adhering to ethical counseling practices.

• Conduct regular sessions to evaluate client progress and stability, facilitating discussions around appointment frequency and discharge planning when appropriate.
\n
• Develop, implement, and continually assess individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.
\n
• Ensure meticulous documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates, adhering to required guidelines.
\n
• Engage in comprehensive intake assessments to gather critical information that informs treatment strategies.
\n
• Provide weekly individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support client goals.
\n
• Participate proactively in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and personal development.
\n
• Cooperate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
\n
• Maintain a positive growth mindset, contributing to both personal and organizational evolution within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a diverse group, including adults and children, each with unique backgrounds and mental health needs. As an LPC at Bison, you will work with individuals facing various challenges—from anxiety and depression to complex trauma—within a supportive framework designed to promote healing and personal development.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
\n
• Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.
\n
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
\n
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with software such as Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.
\n
• Experience in delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Comfort and skill in conducting intake assessments and evaluations.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a private practice environment, ideally equipped with knowledge of the fee-for-service model.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance client outcomes.

• Familiarity with modern telehealth practices and virtual counseling tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, staff members may benefit from a fee-for-service compensation model, with guaranteed rates that pay ahead of collections, eliminating delays between service delivery and reimbursement.
