Accounting Analyst

Ford Credit Bank, a de novo Utah industrial bank headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking an Accounting Analyst for its Corporate Accounting Team. The role involves preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with financial controls. What You’ll Do Prepare standard (recurring) and non-recurring journal entries Ensure all journal entries are properly supported and documented, and that close metrics are completed accurately and on time Perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner Support internal corporate audits, external audits, and statutory examinations Assist in the preparation of financial and regulatory reports Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of accounting processes and procedures Conduct accounting research to ensure proper accounting and disclosure of transactions Support adherence to financial controls Collaborate with team members throughout our global organization You’ll Have Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or auditing Understanding of U.S. GAAP Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis techniques Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of organization Ability to generate ideas for improvement and implement those ideas independently Prior Big 4 public accounting experience or equivalent experience with an SEC registrant or Bank Positive, “can-do” attitude Experience with SAP Benefits Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp‑up programs, subsidized back‑up child care and more Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases Tuition assistance Established and active employee resource groups Paid time off for individual and team community service A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time. Salary and Visa This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate’s skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
