Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically targets the geriatric population, focusing on the mental health needs of individuals aged 65 and older. Patients often present with complex psychiatric issues related to aging, such as cognitive decline, mood disorders, and the psychological effects of chronic illness. By working closely with patients and their families, you will play an integral role in navigating their mental health journeys and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or licensed Psychologist.

• Demonstrated understanding of geriatric mental health issues and established evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a patient-centered and empathetic approach to care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications related to patient care.

• Ability to build rapport and trust with elderly patients and their support systems, fostering effective therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
