Work Environment\nThis position offers a remote work setting that allows for flexible scheduling while ensuring that our clients receive timely and consistent care. You will connect with patients through telehealth platforms, using state-of-the-art technology to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and follow-ups. Our full-time schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed based on patient requirements.

- Design and implement personalized treatment plans that consider cognitive, physical, and social factors influencing patient well-being. \n
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that include individual therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention as required. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of geriatric psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to develop integrated care approaches for patients. \n
- Provide education to patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources tailored for seniors. \n
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality. \n
- Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to uphold the highest standards of care and stay updated with best practices in geriatric psychiatry. \n
This role specifically targets the geriatric population, who often contend with complex mental health challenges that require specialized approaches. You will work with elderly clients who may experience various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and dementia-related conditions. Building rapport and trust is crucial as many patients seek therapy during vulnerable times, and your empathetic approach will play a vital role in their care.

- A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is essential for this role. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of geriatric mental health disorders and corresponding evidence-based treatment methodologies. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to connect with older adults and their families effectively. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using telehealth technologies for virtual sessions. \n
- A collaborative spirit that enables seamless partnership with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team setting. \n

- At least two years of post-licensure experience preferred, particularly in settings focusing on geriatric mental health. \n
- Experience providing individual and family therapy to older adults, demonstrating an understanding of their unique psychological and emotional needs. \n

The salary range for this position is USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
